CustomLuxuryHomeBuilders.ca publishes editorial research about custom home builders and custom home building in Canada. It is a publication, not a brokerage service for construction, not a contractor, and not a professional adviser of any kind.

Editorial selections are opinions

Builder selections and ranking positions are editorial judgements formed against published criteria. They are not statements of fact about relative quality, not guarantees of performance, and not recommendations that you engage any particular company. A builder’s inclusion is not an endorsement, and a builder’s absence is not a criticism.

We do not claim that any builder is objectively the best, the most trusted, or guaranteed in any respect, and nothing on this site should be read that way.

Information is not warranted

Information is published in good faith and with the sourcing and verification described in our editorial standards. It may nonetheless be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Fields marked “Information not yet provided” have not been verified and must not be read as any kind of statement about the subject.

Cost figures are editorial estimates published to frame a conversation. They are not quotes, not surveyed statistics, and not a basis on which to make a purchase decision. Regulatory summaries describe our understanding at the date shown; requirements change and vary by property.

Your obligation to verify

Before engaging any builder or committing to any transaction, you must independently verify licensing, registration, insurance, warranty enrolment, financial standing, references, project claims and all contract terms, and obtain your own legal, financial, construction and design advice. Nothing here substitutes for any of that.

Introductions

Where you request an introduction, we pass your details to the party you named and nothing more. We are not a party to any agreement you subsequently enter, we do not supervise any work, and we accept no responsibility for the conduct or performance of any third party. Where compensation arises from a professional referral, it is disclosed before the introduction is made.

Sponsorship

Sponsored placements are labelled wherever they appear and are separate from editorial selection. Sponsorship does not affect ranking, does not protect a sponsor from an accurate unfavourable statement, and does not confer editorial control.

Content and citation

Content on this site is our copyright. Journalists, researchers and analysts are welcome to quote it with attribution and a link. Wholesale reproduction, republication or scraping to reconstitute the research elsewhere is not permitted. This site is published by a licensed Alberta real estate associate. Real estate services referenced here are provided through the licensed brokerage identified in the footer. Nothing on this site is intended to solicit buyers or sellers already under a representation agreement with another brokerage.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable there.
